Description
Disney's Yacht Club Resort is one of Disney's most beautiful resorts, portraying the look and feel of an authentic New England yacht club. The resort is set on the shores of Crescent Lake, amongst lush landscaping and architecture reminiscent of Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. It is also the sister resort of Disney's Beach Club Resort. The two resorts share quite a few amenities, one of which is Stormalong Bay - a 3 acre water wonderland, complete with sand-bottom pool, a life-sized replica of a ship wreck, water slides and a lazy river.
There are many activities available on Crescent Lake, such as watercraft rentals, catch-and-release fishing expeditions, or a private cruise on Disney Yacht Club's yacht, the "Breathless". When all the activites have worn you out, just relax and enjoy the water views from one of the white-sand beaches around Crescent Lake.
Children can enjoy the 24-hour playground next to Stormalong Bay or a 24-hour high-tech arcade and game room.
If you need some "adult-time", your kids can participate in the Sandcastle Club, where they will enjoy supervised activities. (Additional fee required)
