Description
Disney's Coronado Springs Resort is set on a 22-acre lake called Lago Dorado. The theme of Coronado Springs is the American Southwest, as can be seen in its beautiful colors and architecture. This resort is named for a Spanish explorer, Don Fancisco de Coronado ad his adventurous search for the seven cities of gold.
This spirit is reflected in the entire resort, including the pool, which has a pyramid theme and a water slide inspired by a jaguar. Guest rooms are contained in three themed areas:
- Casitas- Urban Terra Cotta
- Ranchos- Southwestern Pueblos
- Cabanas- Beachfront Retreats
Each themed guest room area has it's own pool. Disney's Coronado Springs is an adventurous place to stay and we can't wait to return there- from water recreation, to relaxing hammocks, this proves to be one of our favorite resorts!
